Startup Edmonton

Our Startup Edmonton program offers four stages of programming with resources and guidance along the way to support founders and entrepreneurs launch and build innovative products and companies.

Post-Secondary Institution Program

We offer assistance to any student, staff or alumni at Concordia University of Edmonton, MacEwan University, NAIT, NorQuest College, or at the University of Alberta through our Executive-in-Residence (EIR) program and Business Development Support (BDS) program.

Student Programs

Students will be able to attend Startup Edmonton's annual Student Developers Conference (DevCon); workshops, panel discussions and AMA's (ask me anything) with industry experts; and Career Mixers with some of the hottest local tech startups.

Investment and Funding Support

You’ve established your idea and launched your business, now it’s time to find investment and funding so you can grow! Access the EDGI or Start Alberta platforms and connect to investment, programming and resources. 

Alberta Catalyzer

Supports founders and their startups anywhere in Alberta. Divided into three phases, Alberta Catalyzer is an unprecedented realignment, harmonization and expansion of startup support from partners and organizations in all eight regions across the Alberta Innovation Network.

Participants will receive business supports and advice in the early stages of development, preparing them to advance to the scale-up and acceleration stages. Alberta Catalyzer values equity, diversity and inclusion.
